| Wonderful hobbyIīve been doing astronomy now for years. I have a four inch refractor telescope (good brand which I donīt mention, but itīs good, starts with a C) and spend hours every night looking through it. I also got an attachment for taking pictures with my digital camera.I can put on quite a show for neighbors and friends. A few suggestions for my fellow travelers along this activity: 1- Buy a good telescope. Thereīs nothing worse than looking at things that just appear as bright dots. 2- Buy a large enough telecope so that it is worth while, and at least see the moon craters clearly. 3- Buy a good book on astronomy focused at beginners so that you can know what you are looking at. Itīs not just look up in the starry night and trying to find something. Good luck! |
