Salsa dancing is a different experience. The vocalizations, if you can understand them, are romantic massages reminiscent of encounters on a warm evening on a tropical beach, with the waves splashing against your legs.

It is definitely a Caribbean experience. Once the music begins you begin moving in circles. The dancers can be close or far apart, always flowing in circles to get back together again.

The feet always moving in step with the partner. Perhaps this is the most difficult skill to get right.

Salsa is an ode to freedom, and when you get a really integrated couple it is a joy to see. If you have the experience of being one of the dancers, it is really unforgetable!
